Iam having problems with my compter?

this microsoft windows keeps popping up and saying that my explorer has stopped working winsows is now restarting but its working fine everytime that shows up all my icons dissapear and the reappear if i try to uninstall my internet explorer the windows microsoft pop up keeps comming up so i can keep to my control panel or anything in the start area..but i can still go on the internet and check my message and etc..how can i solve this problem..help please?
