I've wanted him to like me...now he might...but now I'm not ready. What do I do????

My good guy friend had a breakup from a long term relationship a month ago. He was always flirty w/ me, but never crossed the line. We used to chat for hours, study together, he teased me, etc. My friend, against my choice, asked him if he liked me right after the breakup, and he paused a long time, and said as a friend, then kept asking her if I was mad. The month after his breakup, we chatted a lot (4hr+) and grew very close. When I went back to cles, he doesn't even say hi to me, but blushes and kept staring at me. I get home, and he texts me tons w/ silly hw questions. Then again, he blushes and seldom talks to me in cl. He's never been shy w/ me. When I texted him the next day, he texts silly stuff and then calls and talks to me. Other day, I had the craziest convo w/ him. He went off about how girls should be more straightforward. He said we give hints, and he gets confused. I want him to realize he likes me...but not now, when he still loves his ex. How to handle it?
