Who else is saddened by Ted Kennedy's death?

I am a conservative independent who did not agree with his political views at all. However, I am deeply saddened by his ping, and it has made me wonder. I have Republican friends who were actually crying over the page. Would Democrats mourn the loss of a Republican politician, or would they actually be celebrating? I have seen a few mindless liberals (including many on this site) who have a smaller heart than they do a brain. Democrats, Republicans, and fellow independents, please chime in with your repsonse.
