Anyone had a horrible prom/formal experience?

For my final year formal i had the worst night ever. All my 'friends' abandonded me so they could sit on the 'cool girls' table and the one friend that stuck by me spent most of the night having a smok outside with her boyfriend. I was allocated to the christians table, sitting opposite loved up couples sucking face the entire night, Not to mention the fact that i was literally the ONLY girl who didnt have a date - no joke - I felt so insecure about how i looked, my feet were killing me, barely anyone talked to me, my dress had a trail so i couldnt dance without it getting stepped on (not that i felt like dancing). Oh yeah i forgot to mention that my best guy friend (purely platonic) had told one of his friends he was going to ask me to go with him and i later found out about it and was really excited that i would have a date. Only to find out on our graduation day that he was taking a girl in the year below us that he had recently been ditching me for to hang with. Can you top that?
